Big businesses love regulations, high taxes and intellectual property.
The big businesses are able to pay for the changes they need to in order to follow the regulations. If they want, they will just lobby to get an exemption.
High taxes are no issue for them. They are able to pay lawyers money to find all the loop holes they need to avoid paying much of the taxes.
Intellectual property enable them to stifle innovation from entrepreneurs allowing them to prevent others from getting money.
All three of these issues stop new people from coming into the market and being able to compete with decent prices. This helps the big businesses remain in control. Small and middle size businesses may not be able to afford the costs to pay for the new and more burdensome regulations that continue to be made. They cannot afford a lobbyists to get them exemptions from regulations. Small business cannot afford to pay rich lawyers to find loop holes in the tax system. The small business cannot have a chance when a large company sues them for millions with a team of lawyers while they are patent trolling.
The system is rigged to help the big businesses. We need to lower regulations, lower taxes, and change the IP system so innovators have a chance.
