Despite what you hear and see on television, actual cases of gender dysphoria are incredibly rare. If a child is legitimately diagnosed with gender dysphoria then the instructions provided by a medical professional should be followed. Again, gender dysphoria only impacts a fraction of less than 1% of the population.
If the child does not have gender dysphoria, and is simply being confused by what is being promulgated as “popular and trendy” by left-wing social engineers, then the parents of the child have the responsibility of explaining why dressing, behaving, and declaring to be another gender (or non-gender) is inappropriate and irrational.
I think the current wave of transgenderism that we are seeing is designed to further erode the family. I do not think it’s appropriate for children of any age to be encouraged by their parents to assume another gender. In fact, I think that parents who do such things should be charged with child abuse. Clearly they aren’t fit to be parents.
