First Details of the Memo's Contents

So there you have it.

After the release of the memo that the right had been hyperventilating over, the “bombshell” turned out to be a dud. While Sean Hannity and Donald Trump insist that the memo proves that #TrumpRussia needs to be shut down, even Trey Gowdy, the source of the info disclosed in the memo, has to admit that he disagrees.

“Not to me, it doesn’t — and I was pretty integrally involved in the drafting of it,” Gowdy told CBS’s Margaret Brennan for an interview set to air on “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “There is a Russia investigation without a dossier. So to the extent the memo deals with the dossier and the FISA process, the dossier has nothing to do with the meeting at Trump Tower.”

The memo impugned everyone that signed that fisa warrant . The federal government has around a 98% approval on their FISA warrants ?

Dated July 19, 2016, Steele’s field memorandum was titled: “Russia: Secret Kremlin meetings attended by Trump advisor Carter Page in Moscow.”

Cater Page is not the dope of the Steele report .

Page was raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, and graduated from Poughkeepsie’s Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1989.[6]

Page graduated in 1993 from the United States Naval Academy; he was a Distinguished Graduate (top 10% of his class) and was chosen for the Navy’s Trident Scholar program, which gives selected officers the opportunity for independent academic research and study.[10][11][12] During his senior year at the Naval Academy, he worked as a researcher for the House Armed Services Committee.[13] He served in the Navy for five years, including a tour in western Morocco as an intelligence officer for a United Nations peacekeeping mission.[13] In 1994, he completed a master of arts degree in National Security Studies at Georgetown University.

After leaving the Navy, Page completed a fellowship at the Council on Foreign Relations and in 2001 he received an MBA from New York University.[10][14] In 2000, he began work as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in the firm’s London office, was a vice president in the company’s Moscow office,[3] and later served as COO for Merrill Lynch’s energy and power department in New York.[11] Page has stated that he worked on transactions involving Gazprom and other leading Russian energy companies.

That’s been going on for forty years and it’s just suddenly now a problem for you?

#84

Most people have had a problem. What did Obama do after the Snowden leaks? Nothing.

#85

Wait a minute, I thought Snowden was a hero, shrug.

““A recent Quinnipiac University Poll found that Americans have never felt more positive about the economy. According to Quinnipiac, 63 percent of American voters say the economy is “excellent” or “good,” while 34 percent say it is “not so good” or “poor.” This was the highest positive rating for the economy since Quinnipiac began asking the question in 2001.””

CNN) South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said the recently released, controversial GOP memo alleging FBI abuses of its surveillance authority does not have “any impact on the Russia probe,” and even without the Steele dossier, there would be a Russia investigation.

So, the investigation IS IN FACT NOT tied to the Steele Dossier, and it will continue on.

Andrew McCabe Admits, Without Dossier, Had No Reason To Obtain FISA Warrants!
This is corruption at it’s highest! A series of lies were told to the FISA court, in order to spy on Trump’s campaign. And they went back three (3) times to illegally obtain a FISA warrant! The FBI had never corroborated anything on the dossier, yet, it was the only thing they had in order to obtain warrants to spy on the opposition party! This should never happen in a democracy! This happens in corrupt banana republics in order to stay in power! Heads have to roll! This is despicable! Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein and others involved such as Loretta Lynch, should be held accountable for this and must be investigated! And prosecuted if found guilty!

Is that a direct quote?.. because if it is, their is a difference between a ‘Russia’ probe into the 2016 elections and a ‘Trump/Russia Collusion Probe’

#90

In plain language the “Trump Project” was a joint 2016 FBI & DOJ counterintelligence operation to conduct wiretaps and surveillance upon the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. Operatives within the FBI and DOJ who were politically aligned with the Hillary Clinton campaign, weaponized the DOJ and FBI to undermine her political opposition.

It is increasingly clear the entire purpose of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe was not to investigate some nefarious and innocuous Russian election interference; but rather with a Trump victory the same people who weaponized the FBI and DOJ to conduct the “Trump Project” needed to generate a shield or firewall to protect them from sunlight. The Mueller probe is that shield.

Loose lips sink ships.

WASHINGTON — During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.

About three weeks earlier, Mr. Papadopoulos had been told that Moscow had thousands of emails that would embarrass Mrs. Clinton, apparently stolen in an effort to try to damage her campaign.

Exactly how much Mr. Papadopoulos said that night at the Kensington Wine Rooms with the Australian, Alexander Downer, is unclear. But two months later, when leaked Democratic emails began appearing online, Australian officials passed the information about Mr. Papadopoulos to their American counterparts, according to four current and former American and foreign officials with direct knowledge of the Australians’ role.

The hacking and the revelation that a member of the Trump campaign may have had inside information about it were driving factors that LED THE FBI TO OPEN AN INVESTIGATION in July 2016 into Russia’s attempts to disrupt the election and whether any of President Trump’s associates conspired.

COMEY: “I gave my memos to a friend to leak them because I felt a special counsel should be appointed”

#93

The hacking and the revelation that a member of the Trump campaign may have had inside information about it were driving factors that LED THE FBI TO OPEN AN INVESTIGATION in July 2016 into Russia’s attempts to disrupt the election and whether any of President Trump’s associates conspired.

So the collusion investigation predates the FISA warrant for Carter Page.

#94

Too many Republicans have even acknowledged that there’s nothing about the Nunes memo that will affect the Mueller investigation which WILL CONTINUE!

#95

I still want to know how ‘Russia’ (if that is even correct) gained possession of those e-mails… we have yet to see any connection between a ‘hacker’ and the e-mails. Their does seem to be some serious doubt, given the forensic data, that and external (Internet) breach was capable of transferring the amount of data stolen…

#96

A serious relief for you, I am sure… still little concern for an FBI and DOJ who seem to have little regard for protocol in general and the 4th amendment in specific…

#97

Well for the first 38 years it seems to have worked as designed .
It wasn’t until Obama weaponizes the FISA court like the internal revenue service to persecute American citizens that I object to the rubber stamping of applications !

#98

It’s always had an unrealistically high warrant issuance record. And Obama was certainly not the first president to use the power of his office and agencies that he has authority over to his political advantage against his foes. Pity that the partisan contributes to these abuses of power by only concerning themselves with crimes committed by the opposing party.

#99

Other than the obvious… do tell…

"then FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe testified that “no surveillance warrant would have been sought” from the FISA court “without the Steele dossier information.”
The memo stated that then-FBI Director Comey signed three FISA applications for Page and McCabe signed one.

Trump’s current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein also signed at least one FISA application for Page – along with former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and former Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente.
The dossier, authored by former British spy Christopher Steele .
The same former British spy that "told Ohr that he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.”
“This clear evidence of Steele’s bias was recorded by Ohr at the time and subsequently in official FBI files – but not reflected in any of the Page FISA applications,” the memo reads.
It also claims the FBI and DOJ used media reporting to lend credibility to the dossier. Fusion GPS, it says, briefed major American news outlets to include New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, New Yorker, Yahoo and Mother Jones on its contents.
We are witnessing the the beginning of the end of a corrupt justice department .
From the secretary of state’s office to the FBI and the justice department . The leadership of these agency’s have circled the wagons in order to try and protect their agency’s reputation ! To little to late the abuse and biases shown against the President Elect has been so overwhelming that it points to a constitutional crisis not seen in our nation since the civil war !!!
The all branches of department of justice working in lock step to overthrow an elected President !
