If the FISA memo is nothing, The Left, you have nothing to hide

What a steaming crock that is right there. Trump is a Republican that tweets out regularly that we need more republican wins in 2018. Nothing independent about the TIC.

#83

As you can read on this forum… Republicans are a divers bunch and the regularly take in many libertarians and independents… but they are very divergent from the democrat who is, beyond their love of the nanny state, a group of single issue voters who really couldn’t care less about the other clicks that make up the party.

We know the only reason democrats support mass immigration is to remain a viable party. They have used and lost so many of what use to be their base that they need to import relevance.

Being what it is, the republican party, in order to roll back some of, at least the overly bloated, big state needs to purge some who should actually be seeking office under some banner other than republican and elect enough to truly put this socialist, globalist tripe in the waste bin where it belongs…

As we find and elect more Freedom Caucus kinds of people then the Republican party is going to have to have a big discussion… one they have really refused to have thus far… Are they Constitutional Republicans or just big government authoritarians dressed up in Federalist clothing, because their are a fair amount of those on the right who seldom frame their arguments with the constitution in mind.

Looks like thick skull needs to be replaced with ‘once you get a thick skin.’ If this offends you, if you consider this an attack, how do you deal with life?

#85

With the democrat’s in lock step with the progressives , globalist , open borders , trans bathroom cause of their failed Democratic party’s platform who would you have President Trump ask voters to vote for ?

If you can’t debate civilly, move on…

#88

Open borders is a matter of decades of bipartisan support. This is why nothing ever gets fixed. Until you acknowledge the reality of globalization (doesn’t mean you have to like it or support it) and the benefits of it to big business, you’re never going to get this. Both parties pander to big business and their lobbyists who do not want secure borders but the free flow of goods, capital and labor. And while I realize the TIC is standing firmly on “the wall”, it’s a monstrosity of a project that will be tied up in courts long past his stay.

#89

If we don’t it is because of the resisters never Trump lemming who refuse to get their heads out of their collective asses and pressure their representatives to put Americans safety in front of illegal !

#90

Like we do where firearms are concerned. A mental health professional in Florida isn’t even allowed to ask a patient if they own a gun!!! Marco Rubio tweeted out our prayers. Cause that’s all he’s got as our politicians will do nothing, NOTHING to fix this problem. And these mass shootings are nearly always committed by deranged/hateful white American men.

#91

Don’t know much about it yet was waiting to post until the facts became a little clearer .
But as you seem to have made up your mind all ready just a thought . If the school posted his picture and he was NOT allowed to be in school with a back pack why didn’t they notify the police department that the school considered him a danger ?

#92

But I haven’t made my mind up if you look at my commentary in the thread on that.

#93

Au contraire !
Marco Rubio tweeted out our prayers. Cause that’s all he’s got as our politicians will do nothing, NOTHING to fix this problem. And these mass shootings are nearly always committed by deranged/hateful white American men.
Your lib mind is made up like the rest of your ilk .
Guns bad laws good confiscation better .

#94

A mental health doctor is not allowed to ask a patient if they own a firearm, it’s illegal. That’s a legislation problem, that’s a Rubio problem.

#95

How about this twist on your comment…‘If you can’t debate at all… be quite’…

#96

That’s the same thing we need to happen with regards to firearms and the madness of mass shootings in America that never ends.

#97

So you must believe gun laws are the fix. If that’s so why don’t the laws that are in place stop the mentally ill from getting guns? Remember that guy in Texas, the church shooter, beat his wife and kid? He was discharged from the military for it, which should’ve been an immediate no-gun-for-you strike on his record. Yet the system failed, and he had a well modified AR-15-style rifle in his own name. Many states already have ample laws to this effect. Why don’t they work? Yet people believe snowballs might suddenly roll uphill, forest for the trees type-logic, so more laws must be needed.

Pro tip, when it’s not working, the odds are it won’t work in the future if people keep trying the same thing. Deep right (sarcasm)? Yet this is what people constantly do.

#98

Only in part. Mental health doesn’t have the necessary tools to work with and that’s a very big part of the problem.

#99

Of course no one in this country and most specifically those who love and depend on government to solve every little problem in our lives are loath to admit that it is in fact the society that we are creating that feeds children in grade school drugs to keep them compliant is the problem. Funny how the west is so much in need of therapy…

The push for ever larger, more powerful and more distant governance couldn’t possibly be the problem.

#100

Sure as God created little green apples this tragedy is going too be about Americas best selling fire arm and magazine sizes !
Never mined the facts and warnings that were broadcasted by this guy .
The schools inability to protect their students ?
Government seem unwilling or unable to protect our citizens and the libs want to disarm the citizens that have the ability to protect our family’s and neighbors if the need arises .

#101

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard today. The schools responsibility is to educate students. These f-ing mass murders happen not just in schools, but airports, night clubs, theaters, concerts, restaurants, parks etc., Just another death to the country by a thousand cuts. A pistol for self defense in your home, a bolt action 3-5 round rifle and a low round shotgun for hunting is all civilians need. So yes, the conversation will be about Military style firearms and high capacity magazines. We need a national data base for mental health providers to contribute to and we need the moron Republican legislators in Florida to write new law that doesn’t criminalize the mental health provider for asking a patient if they own a gun. And the federal back ground check needs to be tightened up, as this shooter was able to pass a background check even though he has a mental health history. Just for starters.
