Macron Admits France Would Vote To Leave The EU If Given A Referendum

#1

Emmanuel Macron has sent shockwaves throughout Europe after he conceded that French voters would quit the EU if France held an in/out referendum on the Brussels-led bloc.

No other European Union country has risked putting membership of the bloc to a public vote since Britain surprised member-states by voting to leave the bloc in 2016,

If countries aren’t getting a benefit from being in the EU anymore then they should vote to leave. The biggest problem I see is with trade and currency. Trade still happened before the EU and so did currency exchange. They don’t need the EU to go back to the way things were.

The formation of the EU was intended as an economic solution eliminating barriers to trade, labor and monetary issues.

It has done that quite well. It was never intended to address the mass migration from non member nations.

Well… at least that was most certainly the way it was advertised but it was always the dream of the Hunn to bring Europe under their control… Don’t forget where all of the EU’s gold is stored. The Common market and with some exception the common currency and the Schengen Agreement worked pretty well. Of course this was a slow process to the political unification of Europe.

This was not emphasized as much as it should have been during Brexit. David Cameron was, previous to the referendum, suppose to create a new arrangement with Europe where Britain in specific but all nation states in general would recover at least some of their sovereignty from the EC… Cameron never really pushed for those kinds of changes… The entire focus of the purveyors of the European union IS complete and total political integration… I.E. the United States of Europe but without the mess BS of ‘states’ rights’…

United we stand, divided we fall, next thing to dissolve would be NATO. I’m sure Russia is enjoying this.

Pretty interesting how they transformed the single workforce and borderless EU into a borderless EU for anyone that wants to enter the EU.

More interesting is how the migrants are living the life on the backs of the workers and the taxes they pay and little is said.

So… what are you shooting for… the three regions of Oceania, Eurasia, Eastasia as defined in 1984… or a more inclusive progressive view of the Borg?

#8

Did you know Russia is enjoying this???

Russia, the new boogie man.

#9

Perhaps, but who’s going to be hurt by a disillusionment of the EU. And what will the fall out be? Loose the UK, France and Germany and it’s probably over.

The question is… ‘What is all over’? The full court press by the EC to take over governing policy from the member states is what has caused the problem… they were all getting along swimmingly before…

This fact is often overlooked by policymakers on this side of the Atlantic as Washington focuses its attention on Russia’s actions in Syria and Ukraine or its interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. But Washington should do more — in concert with Europe — to protect the EU from Russian meddling, influence and subversion.
