The fact the entire media poured unqualified praise on her speech indicates it was planned in advance. She will leave it alone for a few weeks or months, I would guess, before making the announcement official…but I suspect it’s a certainty now she will make a bid.
If so, she is is almost guaranteed to win the nomination, and the hysteria surrounding the Winfrey vs Trump narrative is going to generate pure chaos. It will be the nastiest, shrillest, most unhinged contest ever - and the result (which ever way it goes) will be great for the right.
If Winfrey wins, as I think she would, what will become of the army of young men given brief hope by the prospect of the Trump administration? Are they just going to accept extinction as the narrative says they should? I don’t think so. The alt-Right would probably grow in size and stature, and the ‘official’ voices of the right, such as Nehlen, would reflect that prominence. At the same time, being pro-White might well become a far more dangerous thing that it already is - with hate speech laws and the possibility of an outright ban very plausible.
For radicalizing a generation of young men to put America back on the right course, Oprah is the dream ticket.
