#ReleaseTheMemo: House Intel votes to release controversial surveillance memo to the public

#41

But why not just release it. What’s there to hide?

#42

Did you read above? It was just introduced and hadn’t even been seen by committee members. Not to worry Schiff will leak it.

#43

No, but your wrong, committee members HAVE seen it.

#44

I showed you a link that said that dems refused to show it before a vote… you have a link that says otherwise?

#45

Christopher Wray, a Republican and Trump’s pick to head up the FBI, is openly defying the administration and insisting that besides having discrepancies and inaccuracies, the “memo” will reveal ways and means to our enemies.

Wray issues stern warning to the White House.

FBI Director Christopher Wray sent a striking signal to the White House Wednesday, issuing a rare public warning that a controversial Republican memo about the FBI’s surveillance practices omits key information that could impact its veracity.

As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy."

#46

Nunes give it right back… to the wailing arm wavers of this memo… you have stonewalled us for to damn long…

“Having stonewalled Congress’ demands for information for nearly a year, it’s no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies. The FBI is intimately familiar with ‘material omissions’ with respect to their presentations to both Congress and the courts, and they are welcome to make public, to the greatest extent possible, all the information they have on these abuses. Regardless, it’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counter-intelligence investigation during an American political campaign. Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.”

#47

The Democrat Cockroaches need a.place to hide and stalling for time till they find a place. Probably under Pelosis dress.

#48

Do you fully comprehend that the president’s intelligence community, DOJ and FBI, run by people THAT HE APPOINTED are publicly calling foul on the release of this memo that omits information which gives a false impression and is revealing of intelligence gathering techniques, how in thee hell can you set there with a straight face and blame this on democrats???

#49

Let’s all see what’s revealed- if this is what Nunez claims, it will be a disaster for the Dems, and may well result in indictments of Dem. figures (that would include Comey, Lynch, et. al). If on the other hand, it is proven to be a nothing burger - then the GOP will be in real trouble come November.

#50

Appointed or not it’s not their choice. It’s up to our elected officials, not appointed bureaucrats.

#51

But I’m not arguing against that. The president has the authority to tell his appointments to F off and do as he pleases. Tell me, who doesn’t know that??? Even Trumps appointments know that, and the concerns being expressed have nothing to do with the presidents authority on this.

#52

Well, who was there before Trump became President ???

#53

And yet another post from CNN the laughing stock of media.

The KEY, FBI yet another agency with zero credibility.

#54

That’s a rhetorical question. What’s your point?

#55

Indeed, a cherry picked memo with intentional omissions of fact so as to mislead, yeah that’s problematic, and now, Adam schiff informs us that Nunes materially altered the memo that the committee voted to release. Oh, the level of desperation is quite alarming.

#56

I wonder if say… Nunes releases the memo and say it makes valid charges against someone. The dem’s come out with their memo using whatever slight of hand they have available to exonerate the guy. If it is proven to be true as revealed in the original memo, could the people who crafted the second be charges with some kind of obstruction?.. and because they band together to concoct the memo would that also go to … collusion?

#57

You keep using this same words over and over again… How could you possibly know what the memo says and what its actual intent is?

#58

Perhaps this is the real issue with the release the memo and the information in it…

#59

Said with such authority and you haven’t even read it.

What are you so afraid of???

As it’s cherry picked I assume you won’t read it as you ignore most facts posted here.

#60

He’s not there now. Now, these agencies are run by men that Trump appointed. And it’s those men that are warning the White House that the “memo” is flawed, cherry picked, with material omissions that will mislead the public. And, that it reveals methods.
