The Boston Herald quoted a law enforcement source as saying that the 33-plus pounds of fentanyl is enough to kill more than 7 million people in its raw form. Massachusetts population is 6.8 million.
Conley said the wiretap eventually led to Soto-Perez’s biggest supplier, Contreras, and established Contreras’ direct ties to the Sinaloa cartel.
The DA said 36 others were also arrested in the probe and that investigators also seized cocaine, heroin, two guns and $300,000 in cash.

Fentanyl is a really serious problem and it’s coming in bulk from our “friends” in China. This is a pharmaceutical grade narcotic that labs in China are mass-producing and shipping to the cartels to cut their products with. It’s highly lethal and the addicts can’t tell the difference.

#3

Given the potency of fentanyl and the amount of it being seized by authorities - I’m worried that there is much more out there. And then I wonder who guards the nation’s water supplies.

#4

36 arrested. Notice a pattern here?

#5

Legalize it, make sellers obtain a permit and tax it. Boom! Just solved the drug problem and created billions for the tax payer.

#6

Why isn’t there info on their immigration status . These Wet Backs ( Mexicans) were targeted by Anti immigrant the Police and DEA agents. They’ll claim they’re only trying to establish a pharmaceutical company as entrepreneurs unfairly arrested.

#7

Gov. Phil Murphy, who took office on Jan. 16, campaigned on a promise to legalize marijuana for recreational use. Under the Democratic governor’s proposal, cannabis sales would result in an estimated $300 million in new tax revenue.

“Whatever the tax revenues the state may realize from this proposal, there may be socioeconomic, mental health and dependency consequences that far exceed the economic benefit,” Little said. “The message to our children is something that we felt compelled to speak out about.”

The all-Republican freeholder board voted 4-to-0 in support of the resolution against legalization; a symbolic gesture that does not possess the weight of law.

Several Ocean County towns, however, already have banned the cultivation and sale of weed within their municipal boundaries should the state Legislature eventually support the governor’s proposal. Toms River, Berkeley, Point Pleasant Beach, Lavallette and Seaside Heights have all taken a stand against recreational pot, with other local communities expected to soon follow.

Why isn’t there info on their immigration status .[/quote]
If you haven’t noticed it is extremely difficult to get criminal data on illegals , most Cities don’t bother with including immigration status and those that hide illegals in sanctuary Cities don’t want us to know just how bad these guys are ! We have been hearing so much about the " dreamers " and how we must help these 650,000 poor 45 year old "children " then we hear about a deal to grant amnesty to 1,800,000 !!! A new deal is being thrown around about amnesty for the 3,100,000 !!! With every new deal the number climbs . We have close 25,000,00 illegals hiding in our Cities all over the USA and dems want them out of sight !!!

Statistics from January to April of 2016 reveal that fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that can be 100 times stronger than morphine, was found in 56 percent of all drug overdoses . Found mostly mixed with heroin and cocaine .

#15

As I’ve said before, the hell with the wall and bring back Iron Curtain style borders. Alot cheaper and probably more effective.

#16

As long as we have Cities and States that are willing to provide for them and employers will to work them off the books NO wall or curtain will work !
