Trade WAR and what it actually means!

#121

If you have a government that is focused on enforcing the laws that put people in jail for assault, fraud and coercion then you don’t really have a problem much with the crooks and if consumers actually had to pay attention to the purchase decisions they made then their would be far fewer victims…

The TIC claims the US has a big trade deficit with Canada though the commerce department figures show a trade surplus. The risks of putting a reality show star in the White House that knows NOTHING.

#123

Putting the interests of America first is always the right move.

#124

Still posting lies.

The US government disagrees with you.

The reality of allowing an uninformed person to post garbage without verifying the reality of life. Next you will tell everyone the US has no debt.
Nothing like crack reporting and research.

Our trade deficit is out of control with both Canada and Mexico. If it were 17 billion over 25 years no big deal but it’s over a trillion bucks over 25 tears and Mexico’s far larger.

You paint Trump in a negative picture on every issue and you paint yourself with ZERO credibility

#125

Except that he isn’t and can’t because he’s a moron.

U.S.-Canada Trade Facts

U.S. goods and services trade with Canada totaled an estimated $627.8 billion in 2016. Exports were $320.1 billion; imports were $307.6 billion. The U.S. goods and services trade surplus with Canada was $12.5 billion in 2016.

Donald Trump was forced to admit he was WRONG!!!

#129

Wrong again ?
Canada’s merchandise trade deficit narrowed to CAD 1.9 billion in January of 2018https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/balance-of-trade

Donald Trump bragged that he made up facts in a meeting with the Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, according to an audio recording obtained by the Washington Post.

The US president – notorious for making false claims on countless issues – admitted he told Trudeau that America has a trade deficit with its neighbour when he “had no idea” if that was true.

The treasury department just sanctioned the 13 individuals named in Mueller’s indictment last month.

#132

I don’t think so where did you get “13 individuals named in Mueller’s indictment last month.”
LOOKS like more fake news from the left !

Today, the Trump Administration launched a new sanctions regime targeting human rights abusers and corrupt actors around the world. Building on the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act passed by Congress last year, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order (Order) today declaring a national emergency with respect to serious human rights abuse and corruption around the world and providing for the imposition of sanctions on actors engaged in these malign activities. In an Annex to the Order, the President imposed sanctions on 13 serious human rights abusers and corrupt actors. In addition, the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), acting on behalf of the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Attorney General, imposed sanctions on an additional 39 affiliated individuals and entities under the newly-issued Order.https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm0243
Yawn :point_right:

#133

Here’s what you need to know!!!

#134

The fact is America has taken a beating on trade for decades and it is going to require a little bit of risk taking to get the balance right. The president is doing a great service to both industry and the people by taking this head on.

#135

By lying and making up “facts”? His excuse, he said he didn’t have the correct data with him and just made up his point that the US has a trade deficit with Canada. No, he’s a f-ing moron.

#136

It’s not the job of the president to be a statistician. Generalizing a problem at the executive level and not getting every little detail 100 percent correct is not the same as lying. We didn’t hire the president to be a statistician or analyst. He has people for that. It’s the job of the president to lay out the vision and path forward for the country - especially in areas where we are struggling. Trade is one of those areas and I commend the president for having the courage to get a handle on this.

#137

You’re defending the president on this when he has ACKNOWLEDGED that he made it up!!! Like he said, he could commit murder in broad daylight on 5th Avenue and not loose a single supporter.

#138

You’re defense of this shit is stunning!!!

#139

Nonetheless, the president’s insightful vision for the future of American trade is pivotal. For too long, the economic power of America has been sidelined. It’s time that we put an end to that. The president has the right message and right plan for the future.
