Trump Moves US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem

WASHINGTON — President Trump plans to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the American Embassy there, upending nearly seven decades of American foreign policy and potentially destroying his efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

Mr. Trump’s decision, a high-risk foray into the thicket of the Middle East, was driven not by diplomatic calculations but by a campaign promise. He appealed to evangelicals and ardently pro-Israel American Jews in 2016 by vowing to move the embassy, and advisers said on Tuesday he was determined to make good on his word.

Well as we can see, three globalist presidents and 20 years of accords and summits have done little to fix the problem… one could easily say that the stalemate has actually caused problems.

What is it that they call insanity… Doing the same thing and expecting a different result… Jerusalem has always been Israels capitol…

Besides the PLO have been given far more gratis than they deserve… you remember that wheelchair bound guy who was shot and pushed overboard in his wheelchair. PLO has always been a terrorist organization…

Give Trump a chance… he did actually bring together 52 Arab nations under one roof and managed a standing ovation…

I really doubt he’s concerned by that. Like every other objective view on this, he sees it not as a Trumpian policy as much as keeping a promise to the evangelicals that supported him who have no concern over hastening Armageddon, and hostilities between the three religious interests in Jerusalem.

Actually since Jared’s job description has been reduced primarily to Palestinian/Israel’s peace process, I guess (besides his Mueller concerns) he’s more focused. He’s the one to have urged Trump to sign the extension in June and again this month. Apparently he sees it as the impediment to peace that most objectives do.

Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s foreign minister, said an American recognition would “trigger anger across the Arab and Muslim world, fuel tension, and jeopardize peace efforts.” He was joined by Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, which gave Trump a similar warning, along with the US allies Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and France.

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Wednesday termed a move by the United States, to shift its Embassy to the occupied city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, as illegal and a clear violation of the international law and UN Security Council resolutions.

“The step would constitute a clear violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions particularly UNSCR 478 of 1980 and it would also sidestep decades of global consensus on this issue, undermine regional peace and security as well as derail any prospects for a lasting peace in the Middle East,”

We shall see what we shall see… A lot of UN resolutions get ignored around the planet… the UN is a paper tiger. When they decided to put some of the worst human rights abusers at the head of Human Rights, they lost all credibility.

One thing about Johnny, he does like to talk to himself hoping you will hear.

Previous presidents have claimed that the “law” oversteps congressional authority, that execution of foreign policy lies with the EB.

Bush wasn’t/isn’t the left.

Take it to court then… It was a bill put before congress and passed… they make laws… don’t like the law, take it to court

Proof that this is a great move. Thank You POTUS!

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was among leaders to immediately denounce the announcement as he accused the US of ‘withdrawing’ from the peace process.

What peace process???

undermine regional peace and security as well as derail any prospects for a lasting peace in the Middle East,”

What peace???

Funny to me that Jared Kushner, an unelected punk is in the White House tasked with MEP and the alt right is here making fun of MEP. :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Illiterate bernioe bot, mind posting any sources from things you said? Or you cant afford a computer to actually shill and yorue still posting from your shillPad?

Trump has complete disrespect for the state Department and the diplomacy that they carry out.
