The reason I posted it (and why the NLRPD posted it is that in urban communities, the default reaction is the kid, whatever he did, is in the end blameless, and “the cops murdered him”. If that dashcam video did not capture the images, and the punk’s cohorts all copped a ‘Dorian Johnson’ then BLM would be blocking highways and carrying signs with the punk’s face on them shouting ‘no justice, no peace’. That is why I and a whole lot of other Americans dismiss the BLM movement. Not some deep racial animus, but an understanding that it was started and maintained on lies.
Since the narrative was obviously wrong on this one- what are the odds CNN or the NYT will even mention it? There’s a reason that trust in them is dependent on buying the narrative on a personal basis.
It is a real tragedy that our journalists have become so utterly yellow (on both sides). The reason Fox is doing better in the ratings is that Shepard Smith, for one, is at least willing to criticize Trump without foaming at the mouth hatred like CNN, or worse MSNBC.
