Who Has the World's No. 1 Economy? Not the U.S

If Socialism is so bad, why is it winning ? By most measures, China has passed the U.S. and is pulling away.
American commentators may be slow to recognize China’s economic supremacy, but the rest of the world is starting to wake up to the fact: https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2017-10-18/who-has-the-world-s-no-1-economy-not-the-u-s

https://www.quora.com/Is-China-still-socialist-in-any-meaningful-way So yes, China is still very socialist.

It is amazing what an undemocratic totalitarian Government can achieve. Let’s not let the facts get in the way of Democrat, Socialist, Libtard, Lefty delusions.

Large-scale killings (over 1 million) under Mao took place during China’s land. In official study materials published in 1948, Mao envisaged that one-tenth of the peasants, about 50 million would have to be destroyed to facilitate agrarian reform.

Coercion, terror, and systematic violence were the very foundation of China’s “Leap Forward” and it motivated one of the deadliest mass killings of human history. Dikötter estimates that at least 2.5 million people were summarily killed or tortured to death during this period. His research in local and provincial Chinese archives indicates the death toll was at least 45 million,

The suppression of counterrevolutionaries targeted mainly former Kuomintang officials and intellectuals suspected of disloyalty. At least 712,000 people were executed, while 1,290,000 were imprisoned in labour camps.

Mao’s Great Famine to his total for Mao’s democide, for a total of 77 million killed. 1.5 million people were killed in the violence of the Cultural Revolution, in rural China alone. Red Guards were given carte blanche to abuse and kill the ones perceived to be enemies of the revolution. For example, in August 1966, over 100 teachers were murdered by their students in western Beijing.

the united states is NOT a democracy nor is it free so who are you to judge your superior?

It may not be perfect, but it is a democracy

flawed https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/america-democracy-rated-donald-trump-not-fully-democratic-us-president-report-the-economist-a8195121.html America falls short of being a full democracy for second year running, report finds

Declining trust in public institutions fuels democratic decline

The US scored 7.98 again in 2017, placing it behind 19 full democracies including Norway, Ireland, the UK, Uruguay and Spain.

Now ranking 21st, the US was among other countries with flawed democratic systems including Italy, South Korea, France, Chile, Botswana and Mexico.

You need to take some medication for your delusions. Come back when you have some real facts and data to debate

okay took my meds found some facts -> https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/america-democracy-rated-donald-trump-not-fully-democratic-us-president-report-the-economist-a8195121.html

conservatives always seem to mention that we are not or should not be a democracy why is that? https://www.dailysignal.com/2018/01/17/republic-not-democracy/

This dude is trying pretty hard to push socialist stuff. It’s apparent from the get-go that hes sucking up to the idea of China.

I love how he hasnt moved out to other countries yet, while he constantly praises other countries but the US. How ungrateful.

As I said, US democracy is flawed, but it is a democracy and it is up to the electorate to change it, but then again, no democracy is perfect. I would however, prefer an imperfect democracy rather than no democracy under Socialism or indeed China’s Communism

China’s economic freedom score is 57.8, making its economy the 110th freest in the 2018 Index. Its overall score has increased by 0.4 point, with higher scores for government integrity and judicial effectiveness more than balancing declines in fiscal health, labor freedom, and property rights. China is ranked 24th among 43 countries in the Asia–Pacific region, and its overall score is below the regional and world averages.

Let me repeat myself “As I said, US democracy is flawed, but it is a democracy and it is up to the electorate to change it, but then again, no democracy is perfect.”

Bugger, now you’ve done it @asaratis, only gone and burst little socialist Billy’s balloon. What a shame :rofl::rofl:

Actually, the US is a democratic Republic. Our founding fathers wisely included provisions for precluding pure democracy…otherwise known as mob rule.

At the end of the day, the US electorate have the influence to alter their system, but it amazes me that the Socialist Lefty Libtards believe that Totalitarianism is a viable alternative to democracy. They really are as dumb as a box of rocks
